Oh how I love road trips. The SA trip was pretty fun for the most part. It was really refreshing to see a lot of family members that I hadn't seen in years. Pictures will be posted as soon as I get a chance to look through them. For now, I have a pile of homework that has my name on it.

Ok, so I finally found it in me to start writing my college application essays. The deadlines have been set. I'll be applying to UT Austin, a&m, UH and possibly UA. Obviously UT is where I'd preferably like to be. On another somewhat similar note, school has been going rather well so far and keeping me very, very busy, thus the lack of updates recently. I'm kind of excited about this weekend because we'll be heading to San Antonio, and road trips are always interesting. I think that's about it for now.

I think I've lost count of how many times I've been sick in the last two months. I'm so tired of this, and I really need to be productive this weekend.

I've recently grown addicted to a little series called 'The Long Way Around' with Ewin Mcgregor and Charlie Boorman. The show documents their travels east from London to New York on motorbikes. It is really quite enjoyable to watch, and I would recommend it to anyone that is adventurous at heart and eager to travel as it features many beautiful landscapes and foreign cultures along the way. I'm hoping to finish watching it tomorrow night!

I'm sick, and my to-do list is growing at an alarming rate. The number one priority at the moment: write my college transfer admissions essay.

Two things before I head off for naptime. Calculus already blows and secondly, this will be a very long and arduous semester.

Preparing for the worst, but hoping for the best! School starts back up again tomorrow... err, today (whatever). This means that for the next few hours I will be desperately digging around for my school supplies that I have so cleverly hidden somewhere in my room. You know the drill - crayons, markers, ruler, lunch pale, etc. Where could I go wrong? Oh yeah, I am in college. shit. Well enough of that. It's a good thing I got so much done during my winter break! Ok, so that is not true either. shit x 2. Off to bed it is.

It's raining outside and is just gloomy in general. I was really looking forward to taking the new camera out for a spin with a good bit of sunlight. Nothing against rain, however. Anyways, this is the new journal. I'll try to update a little more than my previous lj stints. That's about it for now until I remember how to rehash my old lj style and layout. Oh, and let us not forget that school starts back up again tomorrow. Sigh.
